Panel by panel commentary:
1. Mostly they're afraid they might contract Sparkle-itis. It was first diagnosed in fairies, turning supernatural beings that were known for kidnapping into a bunch of empty-headed pretty girls with butterfly wings glued to their backs. Then it spread to vampires with the same effect.
2. Ray prefers to sober up with the hair of the dog. By which I mean he takes an actual tonic with dog hair in it.
3. Ray's sexy pose doesn't work as well when he's a dirty tramp hobo.
4.Because silhouettes are easy to draw.
5. Nice line reading there, Stan.
6. Other side effects of Sparkle-itis, in vampires, include being devoid of personality, extreme whining, and a strange obsession over hair gel.
7. Yes, I finally broke down and watched the Twilight movies just so I could see what the fuss was about. I think I get the appeal. It's a comedy, right? I mean, I've never seen a room so destroyed by slow and boring missionary sex.
8. If anyone was paying attention in the last Halloween special, you'll notice her eyes actually are a bright yellow now. But since I took an axe to the color, I have to express that by making her eyes white.
9. You changed your hair?

Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline!

Tormenting Ray makes almost any character more lovable!
