Instead of my usual semi-entertaining commentary, I'd like you all to allow me a little self-promotion. Since I'm trying to get better known in order to sell some of my artwork, it would really mean a lot to me if you could like me on my Facebook page. Or at least pass it on to someone else who might like my work.

Click here to go see it.
THE LINK COMPELS YOU.

It's a good way to keep track of all my artwork and comics I post up from one place, without having to bookmark multiple sites. If you don't want to, for any reason, I completely understand.

Also, here's a handy link to find my art for sale: CLICK CLICK

I just noticed the scar on his head. Did they take something out or put something in?

Neither. He was hit in the head by a large cast iron pan. It cut his scalp.

That's probably better than if it was a procedure (medical, exorcism or otherwise).

Yes, having to deal with leeches and unsterilized needles and thread is bad enough on its own.

The great irony of medieval medicine is that live leaches actually do have valuable medicinal properties. By applying (sterile) leaches to a wound, they can suck up the spilled blood that causes bruising/swelling causing the area to heal faster.

The same goes for (sterile!!) maggots. They can be used to clean out a wound since they won't eat live tissue.

You make a good point there. I do love nature.

Their misery is so funny! I'm only glad that they are imaginary (?) people, or else I would be labeled a dark god, or some such nonsense.

This comic is fueled by schadenfreude.

Yes, this comic is populated entirely by made up people. I wouldn't be so mean to characters based off of people I know.
